Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Ms. Hansbrough received a Journalism degree from Marquette University before writing for a trade publication in Chicago. Her love of children's literature and children's curiousity encouraged her to return to DePaul, where she received her Masters in Early Childhood Education. Outside of teaching, "Ms. Emily" loves writing, reading, yoga, crafts, knitting, cooking and dining at delicious restaurants.
